I want to make sure absolutely sure before I register a domain name idea that it is available and I do not understand why I must go through one of several franchised registrars such as Yahoo and not directly to the directory. As I stated in my question, the man who invented TEXT LANGUAGE stated that he believes that registrars DO steal domain name ideas. Please give me reason to be convinced that this is no longer true and direct me to an independent guarantor before I agree to submit names for domain registration to Yahoo. I am adamant about this because I believe that a few years ago Yahoo charged me webhosting fees for months when I never agreed to such charges. I would like to believe that Yahoo treats its people honorably.
