I was just looking at some figures and it is true that Obama’s plan is to decrease taxes for those in the middle class and I completely agree because I’m one of those in that bracket, but he is also planning on hiking taxes up on the wealthy and large corporations. Won’t this cause many of these companies to either raise the price of the products they make, fire employees, or outsource to other countries? Therefore negating all effects of the decreased taxes.

Obama wants to increase the tax rate on those people who earn more than $250,000. In 2007, the average US income was $50,233.00. Why are Conservatives upset about additional taxes on people who make 5 times the average, especially when those earning under $50,000 will get at tax break under Obama’s plan?

I’m 15 and make about $500 a month taxable income with my part time job. About 10% or a little more goes to my Federal Income Tax. My employer takes the taxes out. Will I benefit from Obama’s tax plan being that I am only 15, and it is a parttime job?

Raising taxes on the top 5% and Big business sounds good, but what about the fact that many large Corporations, once profitable are now posting losses and many of the so called rich individuals are now well below 250k a year in income. If this is fact, will Obama’s plan need to be modified to include tax increases for all in order to pay for all of the new programs?

Please answer with a serious response and support it with a link (not a candidates’ website).
I have read from the Tax Policy Center that under Obama’s plan for individuals making less than $200,000 (couples – $250,000), taxes on capital gains would remain at the 0%/15%, but would increase to 20% once over the income threshold.
Is this true? If not please let me know where I can find the facts. Thanks.

The real grassroots Tea Party movement stands in marked contrast to Democrat attempts to manufacture a movement for Obama’s $3.55 trillion budget.
