Obama’s never run a business. Obama’s not the one running their businesses (yet). Obama’s not the one who’s been looking at how his tax plan is going to effect Joe the Plumber’s specific business.
Small businesses say they’ll have to lay people off. Small businesses say they’ll have to cut salaries. Small businesses say they’ll go out of business.
But hey, at least their employees will get a tax cut.

Obama wants to increase the tax rate on those people who earn more than $250,000. In 2007, the average US income was $50,233.00. Why are Conservatives upset about additional taxes on people who make 5 times the average, especially when those earning under $50,000 will get at tax break under Obama’s plan?

10 May 09 What is the rebut to the responses provided to those questioning Obama’s tax plan?
Every 20 minutes someone asks something suggesting Obama’s plan will force people to get laid off and businesses to close. Then about 25 people, myself included disagree and say that putting more money in the pockets of the middle class will increase profits and production which has be struggling right along with the struggling middle class.
No one ever seems to rebut this notion, so I was just curious what the reply from the other side is to that notion.
