25 Jun 09 Can I collect unemployment insurance if my employer is a nonprofit with less than 4 employees?
My employer was not required to pay unemployment tax. I am now unemployed and my employer would not contest my getting unemployment. However, my employer was not required to pay unemployement tax. My employer is a nonprofit with less then 4 employees in Ohio.

06 Apr 09 What is the least amount of car insurance I need to have on a car that doesn’t have a loan on it?
I live in Wisconsin and havent had insurance in about four years. I am getting married in six months and my fiance’s insurance agent said that I should get insurance now, six months before the wedding, so that once we get married and I get added onto his insurance, I won’t raise his insurance since I am considered high risk since I havent had insurance the last six months or more. So, if I get insurance on my won for six months, it will be high risk for those six months, but then six montsh from now, I won’t be high risk, which will be good becasue six months from now is when i would get married and added onto his insurance.
Now, I am going to get insurance on a car that doesn’t have a loan on it, and I am wondering how much insurance I need? What is the least amount of insurance I could get on my car, so that in six months I won’t be high risk anymore?
P.S. I live in Wisconsin, where it isn’t illegal if you don’t have insurance on your car.

05 Apr 09 How does the insurance company find out about moving violations?
My understanding is that when you get a moving violation (e.g, a speeding ticket), the police or the courts or whoever will notify your insurance company. When your insurance company finds out and finds out about the points that are now on your license, they raise your insurance premium. However, a friend tells me that he’s received several speeding tickets, that his insurance company has never found out (meaning no one is notifying his insurance company), and that his premium has therefore never gone up. How is that possible?

How long can you wait to notify a insurance company about a potential claim?
You know how an insurance tell there clients that they have to report a claim(personal injury/premise liablity) or something. Most insurance policies have a requirement that your notify the insurance company of any potential claim within a very short period of time after the incident occurs. I live in NY. How long can you wait to tell them? How much would that short period of time be? Landlord have been recieving letters frommy lawyer and he havent sent them over to his insurance company. This been going on since May 1st of this year. Can the insurance deny him coverage?

I have credit cards which say they cover me for rental car insurance when I use the card to make the full payment for the rental. How does that work? Are there any catches? Does it make sense for me to get the additional insurance from the rental agency (like Avis)? If I am in an accident, will the Credit Card insurance cover everything or will it also be charged to my regular car insurance company?
