    Liberty Reserve

    From wikipedia.org:
Liberty Reserve’s web site has been down since May 1, 2008. They have done nothing to notify their account holders of their whereabouts and it is presumed that they are no more. With their being based outside the US, there are no US laws one may use to regain any funds one had on deposit with them.
I understand they advertise 3% to 19% DAILY return on investments.
Rule #1 of investing If it sounds too good to be true, it is. (in other words it is too good to be true, Its a scam, you lose.
