I would like to start an online nonprofit that would help people deal with Multiple Sclerosis. Are online activities a reasonable approach to nonprofit ideas?

I think you need to describe a little more what you’re trying to achieve. Do you want to raise money for a charity? Provide resources to those who have MS? Develop an online community/social network for those with MS? Something else?

All of those would entail pretty different approaches to online activities — but yes, they could all be viable options.
